The Lab for Global Performance and Politics is excited to offer current Georgetown students (graduate or undergraduate) an opportunity to engage with our work and mission: The Lab Student Fellows program!
This year-long fellowship program is seeking applicants interested in working at the intersection of politics and the arts, but students from al disciplines are welcome to apply. Student Fellows will meet regularly (and virtually!) over the course of the academic year, beginning in October.
The centerpiece of the program will be a creative project of the fellow’s choosing. This project could take any form – an album, a short story, a soundscape, a one-act play, or series of poems are only a few possibilities. Applicants are encouraged to propose projects they are already working on, or develop totally new ideas. Fellows will workshop their projects in a supportive and engaged group, meet with accomplished professionals working in politics and the arts, and learn more about the work that The Lab does at Georgetown, in Washington, and around the world.
Fellows will also have access to free performances and events!
Those interested in applying for the fellowship should fill out the Google Form that can be found here: bit.ly/LabStudentFellows
The deadline for submissions is Monday, October 5, 11:59 p.m. ET. Applicants will hear back from us by Wednesday, October 7.
