The remote spring internship offers students and excellent remote opportunity to learn about international relations, public affairs, government relations, advocacy, and the public policy and legislative process. The responsibilities, qualifications and application requirements can be found below:
Responsibilities:
- Monitor news coverage when necessary
- Conduct research on media, legislation, and international events
- Attend think tank events and congressional hearings virtually related to client needs
- Draft summary memos on relevant events for staff
- Edit and proofreading client deliverables
- Help pan firm event(s)
- Participate in projects and tasks as needed
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- Currently attending a 4-year undergraduate program, or working towards a masters degree in a field related to the internship
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in public relations, government relations, or public affairs preferred, but not required.
