LPDP (Indonesian Endowment Fund for Education) is a scholarship program managed by the  Indonesian Ministry of Finance which provides financial assistance for Indonesians to pursue master’s and doctoral degrees internationally.

LPDP can fund Indonesian students to study at Georgetown University through the following scholarship categories:

To be eligible for LPDP scholarships, Indonesian students must gain acceptance to globally ranked universities and study programs. LPDP allows applicants to pursue their graduate studies at Georgetown University in the areas of law, politics, and theology. Below is a list of programs that are available at Georgetown University along with their acknowledgement from reputable academic and ranking institutions.

Service (SFS) is the #1 ranked school in the world for master’s in international affairs and policy. The SFS programs eligible for LPDP Scholarships are:

  • Master of Arts in Asian Studies
  • Master of Arts in Arab Studies
  • Master of Arts in German and European Studies
  • Master of Arts in Eurasian, Russian, and East European Studies
  • Master of Arts in Latin American Studies
  • Master of Arts in International Migration and Refugees
  • Master of Arts in Security Studies
  • Master of Science in Environmental and International Affairs
  • Master of Science in Foreign Service
  • Master of Global Human Development

How to Apply

Eligible Indonesian applicants may apply for the scholarship before the beginning of the program. LPDP allows applicants to register with or without a formal letter of acceptance from Georgetown University. Please note that applicants may need to select Georgetown University during the online registration.

There are two phases of registration each year. Applicants are encouraged to review the requirements and registration process on the LPDP official website.
