Title: GlobeMed at Georgetown

Interest Meeting: Wednesday, September 2nd, 8 pm EST

GlobeMed is a network of university students that partners with grassroots organizations around the world to improve the health of people living in poverty. GlobeMed has chapters at many universities throughout the United States. GlobeMed at Georgetown partners with Primeros Pasos, a clinic in Guatemala that serves the local community. We have weekly meetings to discuss global health issues and fund raise for the clinic throughout the year. In today’s pandemic, the inequities in health are evident and we are focused on educating ourselves and advocating for the right to healthcare. Everyone is welcomed to join GlobeMed at Georgetown. Our club is not limited to pre-medicine students or health-related majors. The interest meeting will beheld on Wednesday, September 2 at 8 pm EST. Click on the flyer link in The Globe Newsletter to access Zoom information.

Follow our social media (Facebook: Globemed at Georgetown and Instagram: globemedgeorgetown) for more information. If you have any questions, feel free to email us at georgetown.@globemed.org. We look forward to meeting you!
