Title: Wendy Silberman Cutler (MSFS’83) Starts Work at the Office of the United States Trade Representative

Wendy Silberman Cutler (MSFS’83) joins the Office of the United States Trade Representative (USTR), where she worked until 2015. During her time at USTR, Cutler was the Chief U.S. Negotiator for the U.S.-Korea Free Trade Agreement (KORUS) and led the U.S. trade and investment agenda in Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC). Most recently she served as Acting Deputy U.S. Trade Representative. In this role Cutler supervised the recently negotiated Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) agreement, including carrying out the bilateral negotiations with Japan. In 2015, Cutler joined the Asia Society Policy Institute as Vice President and Managing Director of the think tank’s DC office.
