Title: SFS hosts its first “Smoker.”

The SFS hosts its “first assembly of a social nature” or “smoker,” at the Elk’s Club, the objective of which was getting “the three hundred men of this new department acquainted with each other in a more personal and intimate manner.” Highlights of the evening included a rendition of the “Sons of Georgetown” song, a performance by the Law School Quartet, and lectures on the post-war reconstruction of Europe and Scandinavian trade relations.
