Title: Peter Krogh becomes Dean of the SFS.

Peter F. Krogh becomes Dean of the School of Foreign Service at the age of 32. He is often remembered as the “second founder” of the School of Foreign Service for the reforms enacted during his tenure. Krogh successfully healed divisions among faculty, and ensured the SFS would continue to have a separate teaching staff. In addition, he revised the curriculum, allowing for more electives. Krogh served as dean until 1995.
