Jorge Guajardo (SFS‘93) is appointed to be the Mexican ambassador to China. He served until 2013. During his tenure, Guajardo visited every province in the country. Previously he acted as the Consul General of Mexico to Austin, and the communications director and press secretary for the governor of the Mexican state of Nuevo Leon.
