Ten students become the first to graduate the SFS with Master’s degrees. The 1921-1922 School of Foreign Service catalog describes the process of obtaining a Master’s in Foreign Service : “A Master’s degree may be obtained by taking a third year of advanced work on selected subjects, provided the Bachelor’s degree has already been obtained.”
