Satya Adabala is a second-year undergraduate student in the School of Foreign Service, studying International Politics with a concentration in International Security and a minor in French. Satya is originally from Atlanta, Georgia, and she has also lived in India, where her family now resides. Satya fulfills her passion for writing through her work in the News department of The Hoya newspaper. She also spends her time pursuing initiatives with her fellow members of the SFS Academic Council, alongside SFS deans and administrators, to help improve academic life and student opportunities in the SFS. Satya is passionate about the expansion of women's access to education and hopes to delve into work addressing the gender and income gap in opportunities for education during her college years and beyond.
