Mariana Guzmán

Mariana Guzmán is a sophomore from El Paso, Texas majoring in Business and Global Affairs. As a Latina, she embraces diversity and finds passion in the strength of her identity. Mariana is interested in the intersection of education and international development- specifically in immigrant communities. As a Pelosi Scholar, she is looking to work with the U.S. Department of Education. Outside of academics, Mariana interns at Georgetown University's $3.5 billion endowment to promote the accessibility of the university for underrepresented students, a member of Global Platinum Securities, a pro-bono consultant for nonprofits at Hilltop Consultants, and works closely with the Figge Research Fellowship. In her free time, she enjoys running and spending time with her family.
