Maria Victoria moved to the Cincinnati from Caracas in 2011, and is passionate about public service as a way to give back to the U.S. for receiving her with open arms and countless opportunities. She is also interested in protecting liberty and justice worldwide and believes in the shared dignity of human life. In Georgetown, she is a part of the Catholic Women's group, expanding her ever-growing faith and participating in Catholic Ministry events on campus. She is also a dedicated mentor for the Georgetown Scholars Program, helping first-generation students on campus in their college experience and bridging the gap between them and all the opportunities Washington D.C. has to offer. She is honored to be a part of the 2023 Pelosi Scholars and looks forward to deepening her passion for public service.
