Hailing from Kailua-Kona, Hawai'i, Luka grew up with a strong passion for international affairs and cross-cultural understanding. This interest led him to embark on life-changing experiences abroad, spending a year in India and studying in Israel-Palestine for two years, all during high school, which ignited his desire for diplomatic endeavors. Luka is currently a third-year student majoring in International Relations and Business at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. During his time in the nation's capital, he has gained valuable internship experience at the US House of Representatives, USAID, and is currently an intern with the Colin Powell Leadership Program at the U.S. Department of State.
