Komal Samrow

Komal is deeply interested in inclusive policy development, human rights, and gender equality, and currently works as an intern at USAID’s Bureau for Democracy, Development, and Innovation. Dedicated to public service, she hopes to one day pursue a career as a Foreign Service Officer.
Outside of the classroom, Komal serves on the Advisory Board for Student Organizations at the Center for Social Justice, is the Vice President of the Sikh Students Association, gives tours as a Blue and Gray tour guide, and is an avid painter. Komal is thrilled to be a part of this year’s cohort of Paul F. Pelosi Scholars!
