Emily Zenick
Chief of Staff and Senior Administrative Officer
Emily Zenick provides coordination for the development, monitoring, and implementation of strategic directions, goals, and initiatives for the Dean’s Office. She teaches an Honors Thesis Writer’s Workshop class for students in the Regional and Comparative major in the SFS. Prior to her current role, Emily served as Deputy Director and Associate Dean in the SFS undergraduate program. Ms. Zenick previously held the position of Assistant Dean in the McDonough School of Business. After earning degrees in Speech Communication and Political Science at Syracuse University, she began her career in education serving as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Thailand where she taught English and developed income-generating projects for local women. Ms. Zenick received a Master’s degree in Applied Linguistics from Georgetown University in 1998.
