Elizabeth George

Originally from North Carolina, Elizabeth “Izzy” George is a senior pursuing a major in Science, Technology, and International Affairs with a concentration in Energy and Environment, as well as a French minor and International Business Diplomacy certificate. She is passionate about promoting an equitable transition to a net-zero future through US international energy policy. At Georgetown, Elizabeth serves as a teaching assistant for Maps, conducts research on the Republic of Georgia’s energy security with MSFS Professor Theresa Sabonis-Helf, and teaches Raas as a choreographer for Rangila. In the future, Elizabeth hopes to contribute to global decarbonization efforts in a public service career at the intersection of energy, business, and diplomacy.
