Drew is fascinated by the intersections between China, Latin America, and the U.S., particularly concerning illegal narcotics trafficking, and hopes to pursue a public service internship next summer that will prepare him for a career in this area.
At Georgetown, Drew serves as the Director of Academic Programming for Georgetown’s International Relations Club, a Resident Asst., and as a TA for Maps of the Modern World for Title I high schoolers. Drew has interned with the State Department’s American Corner in Loja, Ecuador, teaching English and American culture to foreign students. Drew also studied Chinese abroad in Tainan, Taiwan for two months last summer and currently works as a legislative intern in the U.S. House of Representatives.
