Cimrun Srivastava

Cimrun Srivastava is a junior in the School of Foreign Service majoring in Regional and Comparative Studies and focusing on conflict and development in the Middle East with a minor in Arabic. She is interested in many aspects of public service, including cultural understanding, political empowerment and participation and foreign policymaking.
Outside of the classroom, Cimrun serves in the Student Advocacy Office and as the co-president of Georgetown ACLU. She also engages with research at the Center for Contemporary Arab Studies about women and refugees in the Middle East and has interned for the Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights and Labor at the State Department. In her free time, she enjoys watching The Bachelorette and sunsets from tall buildings.
