MEDIA ADVISORY: John Kirby to Mark the One-Year Anniversary of Russia’s Invasion of Ukraine at Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service
WHAT: John Kirby, the National Security Council Coordinator for Strategic Communications at the White House, will mark the one-year anniversary of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in an event with Georgetown students on Thursday, February 16, on the University’s main campus.
Ahead of President Biden’s trip to Poland next week, Kirby will participate in a moderated conversation about U.S. priorities and strategy as the second year of this unprovoked war begins, as well as other current issues. Following the conversation, the program will open up for Q/A from Georgetown students.
