Ambassador John Desrocher served from 2017 until 2020 as the U.S. Ambassador to the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria. From September 2014 until August 2017, he served as the Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Egypt and Maghreb Affairs. Ambassador Elizabeth Richard

Ambassador Elizabeth Richard was U.S. Ambassador to the Lebanese Republic from 2016 until 2020. Prior to this, she served for nearly three years as Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for U.S. Assistance. She was the Deputy Chief of Mission in Sanaa, Yemen, from 2010 to 2013. Lieutenant Colonel Timothy M. Gibbons

Prior to his arrival at Georgetown, Lieutenant Colonel Gibbons was assigned to the Defense Intelligence Agency and the National Counterterrorism Center, where he worked on issues related to counterterrorism, transnational organized crime and the Americas. Gibbons’s previous assignments include: U.S. Forces Korea; the U.S. Army Operational Test Command and various Military Intelligence and Armor assignments at the brigade, battalion and company level. Lieutenant Colonel Christy Orser

Lieutenant Colonel Christy Orser is an intelligence officer in the U.S. Army Reserve. She began her military career as an enlisted counter-intelligence agent and, after earning her officer commission, was assigned to an Armored Cavalry Squadron where she completed a combat deployment to Iraq, traversing the entire country from Kuwait to the Turkish and Syrian borders. Lieutenant Colonel Katie Gaetke

Lieutenant Colonel Katie Gaetke, an F-16 pilot, most recently served as Deputy Executive Assistant to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, the principal military advisor to the President. Major Thomas Clark

Major Thomas Clark was previously the Director of Staff for the 52d Fighter Wing. In this position, he oversaw the operations of 190 Airmen from 20 diverse Wing Staff Agencies. He has held numerous positions as a U.S. Air Force Aircraft Maintenance Officer including several flight commands, Aircraft Maintenance Unit Officer in Charge, Maintenance Operations Officer in Charge and Operations Officer for both flight line and back shop squadrons. Major Ashley-Marie Hardwick

Major Ashley-Marie Hardwick previously served as the Aide-de-Camp to the Eighth Air Force Commander at Barksdale Air Force Base, Louisiana. In this position, Ashley was responsible for planning, coordinating and executing all official travel and speaking engagements for the dual-hatted joint commander. Major Kasie Helland received her commission through the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado in 2008. Upon graduation, Major Helland was first assigned to AFOSI Detachment 407, Keesler Air Force Base (AFB), Mississippi, where she served as the Operations Officer.
