Student athlete Emily Gaven (SFS’23), originally from Garden City, New York, is majoring in global business with a minor in government. Gaven is a goalkeeper on the Varsity Women’s Lacrosse team as well as a member of the Georgetown Student Athlete Advisory Committee.
At SFS, Gaven has been able to combine her interests in business and international affairs. One of her favorite classes was Investments in Emerging Markets.

Gaven has thoroughly enjoyed exploring DC and making the city feel like home. She is leaving the Hilltop with lovely memories and excitement for the future.
