Jane Ogle (SFS’67)

"Having the opportunity to see government in action was an incredible experience," says Jane Ogle (SFS’67) describing how she spent her afternoons and weekends as a student at SFS. She was deeply involved with the Mask and Bauble Society, which at the time did lighting design for White House events. Ogle recalls meeting President Lyndon B. Johnson in the East Room and going to the Supreme Court after class to listen to oral arguments. As one of only 25 women in her graduating class, Ogle describes these experiences as part of what inspired her to make a positive impact on the world, including through expanding healthcare access in the state of California.
