Elizabeth is a sophomore in the School of Foreign Service studying International Politics with a Focus on Human Security. She is originally from Aurora, CO, but has lived in Morocco and Italy as well. She is interested in the intersection of development and security and hopes to apply this academic interest to work in the State Department or USAID as a Foreign Service Officer after graduation. Outside of the classroom, Elizabeth is the editor of the Africa section of Georgetown University's Caravel Newspaper, she teaches Maps of the Modern World to high school students, and she competes with Georgetown Model UN. This summer, Elizabeth hopes to pursue an internship in the development world.
