Mar is interested in the intersection of development and security in the Middle East. On campus, Mar collaborates with international nonprofits as a member of Georgetown Global Consulting, helps students navigate the university's disciplinary system through the Student Advocacy Office, and choreographs for the Latin dance team. As a Pelosi Scholar, she hopes to further her understanding of how development-security policy is formulated and implemented and looks forward to learning from career public servants in her fields of interest.
