Calla is most passionate about exploring how effective policy can be used to build resilient communities and empower individuals. She is a sophomore at Georgetown University pursuing a degree in International Politics with a concentration in foreign policy and policy processes. On the Hilltop, Calla works to foster pockets of community on campus through supporting the transition of first-year students as a retreat leader for ESCAPE, uplifting unique voices and perspectives as a podcast producer for the Georgetown Journal of International Affairs and a columnist for GUPolitics' online publication On the Record, and creating a more inclusive academic experience as a representative on the SFS Academic Council's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee.
