Harry Bridges (SFS’51): Remembering Father Walsh
Harry Bridges (SFS’51) was a student in one of the last geopolitics classes taught by Father Walsh at Georgetown. Bridges recalls how Father Walsh would share stories from his own experiences as a consultant to the U.S. government, when he worked on issues surrounding Hiroshima and interrogated top German leaders involved with World War II in the Nuremberg Trials.
“It was really fascinating to hear him give first-person accounts of all this,” Bridges said. “I think it was very helpful to be with people who had seen a lot more of the world.”
