LPDP Scholarship for Indonesian Students

LPDP (Indonesian Endowment Fund for Education) is a scholarship program managed by the Indonesian Ministry of Finance. It provides financial assistance for Indonesians to pursue master’s and doctoral degrees internationally.

LPDP Scholarship types

There are three types of scholarships offered:

General scholarship

For general public admission.

Affirmative scholarship

For affirmation targeted provinces, students with special needs, pre-prosperous families and Papuan youth.

Targeted scholarship

For civil servants, military and police.

Eligible programs for LPDP Scholarship

To be eligible for LPDP scholarships, you must be an Indonesian student admitted to a graduate degree program at a globally ranked university. LPDP allows applicants to pursue their graduate studies at Georgetown University in the areas of law, politics and theology.

How to apply

If you’re an eligible Indonesian applicant, you should apply for the LPDP scholarship before beginning your program. The application process includes an online application, scholastic talent tests and an interview. You can register with or without a formal letter of acceptance from Georgetown University.
