M.A. in Latin American Studies Faculty
The Master of Arts in Latin American Studies faculty are scholars and practitioners committed to guiding you to becoming a confident and knowledgeable leader on the region.
Their research interests include international migration, sociolinguistics, social movements, food studies, development economics and Latin American and Caribbean literature and culture, providing you first-hand access to their expertise. They teach across the university, including in the departments of Spanish and Portuguese, Anthropology, Philosophy, History, English, Black Studies and Government. Our professors working in the field are accomplished writers, researchers, consultants and lawyers who bring their real-world experiences directly to you in the classroom.
