- Educate a diverse body of future global leaders in the history and context of contemporary policy issues facing Asia and its interactions with the United States and other global powers.
- Engage in outreach activities that provide avenues for professional interaction with the policy community and to equip students to contribute to this process.
- Expand research support for faculty to impart a greater understanding of the complexities and diversity of the issues and history in this region.
- Collaborate with appropriate public and private international institutions—especially in Asia—to ensure the most comprehensive understanding of and approaches to related issues.

Financial contributions to the Asian Studies program can be made online via the online giving form by typing “Asian Studies Program” in the “Other” designation box. Thank you for your support.
How to give to the Asian Studies Program
- Access the online giving form and fill out all applicable sections.
- On the donation page under “Your Gift Will Support:” in the box labeled “Other,” type “Asian Studies Program” to direct your gift to our program specifically.
- You can choose whether or not your gift will be a one-time or recurring donation.
- Enter your payment information. Online donations can be made using Visa, American Express or MasterCard.
- Review your donation information for accuracy.
- Receive confirmation and a link to a receipt that you can print out for your records.
