Warisha Siddiqui
M.S. in Foreign Service Student
Warisha Siddiqui is a Master of Science in Foreign Service (MSFS) candidate at Georgetown University, concentrating in Global Politics and Security.
Prior to graduate school, Warisha was a Luce Scholar in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. There, she worked with a women’s crisis center to support survivors of domestic abuse, cementing her commitment to public service. Her background includes extensive service with the U.S. Department of State, where she held positions at the U.S. Embassy in Kuala Lumpur, the Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor, and the Secretary’s Office of Global Women’s Issues. Additionally, as a research data analyst at the Arab Barometer, she analyzed and disseminated vital findings from public opinion surveys across the Middle East and North Africa.
A proud Pakistani American and New York City native, Warisha holds a B.A. in International Relations from Tufts University. She is deeply committed to civic action and community building, having served with the Tufts University Chaplaincy and the South Asian Political Action Community. She speaks Arabic, Indonesian, and Urdu.
