Taylor Elliott

M.S. in Foreign Service Student

Taylor Elliott is a graduate student at Georgetown University pursuing a Master of Science in Foreign Service with a concentration in Global Politics and Security. The daughter of two U.S. Air Force veterans, Taylor grew up living abroad in Italy, England, Japan, and across the United States. Her global upbringing and family background sparked her interest in international relations, particularly anti-corruption policy and governance in Latin America.

Taylor graduated summa cum laude from St. Bonaventure University with a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and Political Science. Before beginning her studies at Georgetown, she served for two years in the Peace Corps in Costa Rica as a secondary English teacher. She also worked for two years as a field organizer for the Monroe County Democratic Committee in Rochester, New York, supporting federal, state, and local election campaigns.

She is passionate about developing policies that advance human development, combat corruption, and strengthen diplomatic ties between the United States and Latin America. At Georgetown, she is building expertise in foreign policy and security that she hopes to apply to future diplomatic and community-focused initiatives throughout the region.
