Srishti Banerjee

M.S. in Foreign Service Student

Srishti Banerjee is a graduate candidate in Georgetown University’s Master of Science in Foreign Service program, concentrating in International Development. Prior to MSFS, she worked at Friends of the Global Fight Against AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria, a global health advocacy nonprofit in Washington, D.C., where she collaborated with the U.S. government, private sector partners, faith leaders, civil society, and other stakeholders to advance policy efforts to end the world’s deadliest infectious diseases.
Before that, Srishti served in both the Washington, D.C. and Connecticut offices of U.S. Senator Chris Murphy, supporting legislative outreach and helping connect constituents with federal resources.
Srishti is passionate about learning from diverse perspectives and contributing to meaningful work that advances a more just, equitable, and safe world. Originally from Connecticut, she earned her bachelor’s degree in Political Science with a minor in Spanish from the University of Connecticut. She is particularly interested in Latin America and South Asia.
