Sam Buan
M.S. in Foreign Service Student
Sam Buan is an accelerated degree BSFS/MSFS student concentrating in Global Business and Finance. As an undergrad in Georgetown's BSFS program, Sam majored in Science, Technology, and International Affairs and minored in Chinese. Sam's academic interests lie at the intersection of the U.S.-China relationship, climate change, and international project finance. Sam's work experience includes the American Security Project, where he wrote on topics of interest to U.S.-China relations ranging from soybeans to semiconductors, and Green Inclusive, a personal carbon wallet start-up in Beijing.
