Sahil Sonalkar is an MSFS Student at Georgetown, specialising in Geoeconomics, Business and Finance. He holds a BSc in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics from King’s College London, where he was a Silver Crown Awardee for excellence in academics, leadership, and sport. A TEDx speaker on education and personal growth, Sahil has participated in multiple panels and discussions on economic policy, sustainability, and intellectual property in developing economies. His professional experience spans policy research and think tank work, multilateral exposure through India’s G20 engagement, and roles with award-winning non-profits in the UK and India, where he contributed to research, programme strategy, and impact-driven initiatives across development, energy, and technology. At Georgetown, he is pursuing advanced training in finance, valuation, strategy, and negotiation, examining how capital flows, firms, and institutions interact within the global political economy. He speaks English, Hindi, and Marathi, and holds a B1 level in French.
