Ryan Arey
Director of Admissions, M.S. in Foreign Service
Ryan Arey oversees all matters pertaining to recruitment, admissions, scholarship, and marketing for the Master of Science in Foreign Service (MSFS) program.
She meets with prospective students, counsels applicants, and chairs the Admissions Committee. She also manages the merit-based awards for MSFS. Ryan travels domestically and internationally to meet with prospective students and alumni.
She also works closely with MSFS Director and Deputy Director to help raise funds for student scholarships.
Ryan teaches MSFS 7900, as an Adjunct Professor every Fall semester.
Prior to joining Georgetown University, Ryan lead recruitment efforts at George Washington University's Graduate School of Political Management.
Ryan is an avid runner and cyclist and you can find her exploring the trails in the DMV or filling in to lead group fitness classes at Yates.
Ryan earned a B.A. in Communication Studies and Management from Albion College and a M.S.Ed in Higher Education Administration from the University of Pennsylvania.
