Riz Khan
2026 Pelosi Scholar
Class of 2028
Major: International Politics
Hometown: Dallas, Texas
Riz's first interest in public service started with his experience in grassroots organizing in Texas. Two years ago, he founded a non-profit called Politics For Teens with the purpose of bridging the partisan divide across the next generation of leaders. Shifting into campaigns, his interests grew to include policy messaging, where he now hopes to focus on areas of public health or emerging issues.
On campus, Riz has interned in areas of political finance and been involved with advocacy groups such as Georgetown Political Strategy. He is also involved with Georgetown Global Consulting and Lecture Fund, helping consult global non-profits and bring inspiring speakers to campus.
