Since interning at a local U.S. Commercial Service office in his freshman year, Peer has become interested in exploring the impact of international trade policy on local communities throughout the United States. Through internships with the State Department and the Asia Society Policy Institute, Peer has also studied how emerging economic statecraft tools such as sanctions and export controls will reshape the global economic order.
On campus, Peer supports interfaith efforts at Campus Ministry, serves as a student leader at GU Politics, and works as a Resident Assistant. In his free time, Peer enjoys engaging in spirited debates, inventing new dance moves, and listening to his favorite Bollywood songs.
