Nicholas Pomper

M.S. in Foreign Service Student

Nicholas Pomper is a Master of Science in Foreign Service (MSFS) student concentrating in Geoeconomics, Business, and Finance. Prior to graduate school, Nick worked for the Regulatory Policy and Economics portfolio at ICF, a Virginia-based consulting firm. At ICF, Nick provided rulemaking support to federal agencies and analyzed stakeholder comments on proposed regulations covering a variety of policy issues, including immigration, public health, and nuclear energy. Before working at ICF, Nick served as an AmeriCorps construction crew leader with Habitat for Humanity in Harford County, Maryland and attended Carleton College in Northfield, Minnesota, which he graduated from in 2021. His academic area of interest is the intersection between economics and security, particularly in the Middle East and North Africa. Nick speaks Arabic at an intermediate level and French at an elementary level -- he is continuing his Arabic studies as a part of his MSFS degree.
