Matthew O'Boyle
M.S. in Foreign Service Student
Matthew O’Boyle is an MSFS candidate at Georgetown University’s Walsh School of Foreign Service, where he is concentrating in Geoeconomics, Business, and Finance. Matthew’s areas of interest include economic development, multilateral finance, international trade, and foreign direct investment.
Matthew graduated from McGill University’s Faculty of Arts in 2024, where he received a First Class Joint Honours degree in International Development, Sociology, and Economics and served as the 2023-2024 student body president. Following graduation, he moved to Washington, DC to work at the Bretton Woods Committee, a non-profit organization dedicated to effective global economic and financial cooperation across the public and private sectors.
Matthew grew up in New Jersey, and has lived in Germany and Canada. He speaks German and is studying Japanese at Georgetown.
