Mary Marsh

M.S. in Foreign Service Student

Mary Marsh is an MSFS candidate pursuing a concentration in Science, Technology, and International Affairs and a certificate in Global Human Development. She graduated from Columbia University with honors in History. While in college, Mary conducted migration research through Columbia's INCITE Institute, worked in social enterprise focused on labor and education, and managed city and investigative reporting at the Columbia Spectator.

After graduating, Mary worked as an analyst at Amasia, a climate-focused venture capital firm, where she conducted investment analysis and managed programs supporting climate technology ventures in the US, Asia, and Latin America. She then spent two years teaching at the School for Ethics and Global Leadership, a residential program for high school students studying ethical thinking, leadership development, and international affairs in Washington, DC and London.

Mary is passionate about science and technology policy that addresses climate change while promoting equitable human development.
