Luke Dao
M.S. in Foreign Service Student
Luke Dao is a graduate student in the Master of Science in Foreign Service (MSFS) program at Georgetown University, with a concentration in Science, Technology, and International Affairs. He is focusing on the intersection of emerging technologies and global governance. Luke graduated Summa Cum Laude from California State University, Fullerton with a bachelor’s degree spanning four disciplines: Criminal Justice, Philosophy, Political Science, and Sociology. He was awarded Outstanding Undergraduate in Political Science.
Before attending Georgetown University, Luke interned for the U.S. Department of Labor’s Bureau of International Labor Affairs, where he assisted in evaluating research on forced labor in global supply chains and supported high-level engagements with U.S. officials, corporate executives, and foreign delegations. He also interned for the Orange County Public Defender in both the Family Court and Misdemeanor Panel divisions, focusing on constitutional protections, legal research, and client-centered advocacy.
