Kweku Acheampong

Kweku Acheampong is a second-year master's student in the Security Studies Program, concentrating in Technology & Security. His academic interests focus on security-driven AI deployment in West Africa, with emphasis on cyber resilience, data stewardship, and enforceable AI policy.
A native of Accra, he holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. His professional experience includes roles with KPMG and the Ministry of National Security in Ghana. Most recently, he was the cybersecurity lead at Ghana’s Financial Intelligence Centre, where he protected sensitive financial intelligence and supported its Anti-Money Laundering/Countering the Financing of Terrorism (AML/CFT) mandate. In his free time, he plays golf and spends time with family and friends.
