John Graham
Principal Industry Specialist at the International Finance Corporation
Mr. Graham is a widely experienced international development finance professional with more than 25 years of leadership in transaction development and strategic advisory in sustainable infrastructure across emerging markets.
John is currently a Principal Industry Specialist with the International Finance Corporation of the World Bank Group in Washington, DC. His current work with global infrastructure is focused on sustainable transport and Public Private Partnerships including highways, mass transit, ports, airports and electric mobility. His remit with the IFC has included investment development with both public and private sector clients as well as advisory work with governments seeking to modernize their infrastructure networks through engaging private capital. Prior to IFC, Mr. Graham was a Principal Investment Officer and Division Chief of Infrastructure for the IDB Group.
John also previously served as an Adjunct Professor at the School of Foreign Service for 14 years, teaching International Project Finance and Investment, and has lectured on global infrastructure development for institutions such as the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) and the Sustainable Infrastructure Fellowship Program.
John holds a B.S. in Finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign as well as an M.S. in Foreign Service from Georgetown University. In addition to his native English, John speaks Spanish, Portuguese and French.
