Jessica Knocklein

Adjunct Assistant Professor

Jessica Knocklein is a Manager of Academic Partnerships at NobleReach Foundation, a non-profit working at the intersection of government, academia, and industry to tackle the nation’s most pressing security challenges by addressing gaps in U.S. tech and talent. In this capacity, she builds and maintains partnerships with universities around innovation-focused curriculum, including NobleReach’s Innovation for Impact® course.

Prior to joining NobleReach, Jessica served as University Program Lead at the Common Mission Project (CMP), a non-profit responsible for scaling the innovation and entrepreneurship course, Hacking for Defense®, across the United States. In her role at CMP, she worked closely with university partners on courses including Hacking for Defense, Hacking for Diplomacy, Hacking for Homeland Security, and Hacking for Impact (now Innovation for Impact) to provide real-world problem-solving opportunities to interdisciplinary students at 50 universities nationally.

Jessica holds a M.A. in European Studies and a B.A. in Global Studies – Security and Justice from the University of Virginia.
