Jared Abazia
M.S. in Foreign Service Student
Jared Abazia is from Brick Township, New Jersey. After graduating high school, he moved to New Orleans, Louisiana to attend Tulane University. While there, he earned a Bachelor of Arts in political science (international relations) and anthropology. Jared also studied abroad in Mexico City, Mexico at the Autonomous Technological Institute of Mexico during the spring semester of his junior year.
Jared matriculated at Georgetown University because he knew its MSFS program would open the door to top-notch career opportunities and lifetime connections. His academic concentration is GPS, reflecting strong interests in geopolitics and foreign policy. Jared’s regional focus is the Atlantic, spanning from the Americas to Europe. He hopes to work for organizations like NATO or the Atlantic Council in the future.
In his personal life, Jared loves to adventure through the Caribbean. He hopes to reach the goal of visiting every island soon. His favorite way to explore unique cultures is through food. To him, an unusual bite is usually the best bite. Jared is also an avid table tennis player. He was the founder, president, and captain of the Tulane University team, and is now captain of the Georgetown University team.
