Jacob Knack
M.S. in Foreign Service Student
Jacob Knack is currently attending Georgetown University under the Master of Science in Foreign Service program where he is focusing his studies in the Science, Technology, and International Affairs concentration. His academic pursuits at Georgetown University include Science and Grand Strategy, Energy Policy, Critical Infrastructure, Emerging Technologies, Nuclear Technology, Security and Strategy, along with continuing his journey through the Japanese language.
Jacob’s overall goal while studying at Georgetown University is to focus on his education and build a more diverse skill set that will better prepare him for a career in the State Department as a Foreign Service Officer.
Jacob’s interest in the Foreign Service stems from his connections made during his time as an All-Source Intelligence Specialist with the United States Marine Corps (USMC) and as a Special Operations Capabilities Specialist (SOCS-I) in the United States Special Operations Command (SOCOM). Serving as an intelligence chief during his time with the USMC and SOCOM he specialized in All-Source Intelligence, Targeting and Collections, Operational Management, and other facets of the intelligence field.
