Inigo Guevara

Inigo began publishing defense-sector analysis in 1999 and has since held several positions in the public and private sectors in Mexico and the United States. He began his carrer in 2000 as a business intellignece professional working for a services company in Monterrey, Mexico. In 2004 he moved back to Queretaro, in central Mexico, where he served as chief of statistical analysis for a state-level law enforcement agency. From 2006, Inigo began to provide advisory support to the Office of the President of Mexico and in 2008 he served as director of analysis in the Office of the National Security Council (STCSN) at the Office of the President of Mexico, where he advised the Mexican government on infrastructure, technology, and equipment options available in the international market. From 2010 to 2015 Inigo worked as senior defense and security analyst for a DC-based contractor, CENTRA Technologies, where he gained extensive experience in drafting actionable intelligence products as well as delivering tradecraft training. In 2015 he moved over to Janes, a private military intellignece firm with a 120+ year pedigree, where he is currently the Managing Director for Janes consulting services. In this role, he provides strategic consulting on market identification and opportunity assessments to private companies and government entities.
