Charles Udomsaph
Teaching Professor
Charles Udomsaph is a Teaching Professor in the Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University. A recipient of the SFS Faculty Award for Excellence in Teaching, he teaches statistics and econometrics in the Global Human Development Program and leads a Stata practicum for undergraduate students.
Since 2003, Professor Udomsaph has served as a consultant for the World Bank on projects across regions worldwide. His work has ranged from enterprise survey implementation in Southeast Asia to capacity-building initiatives in Cameroon, Guatemala, and Jordan.
His current research develops novel methodologies for measuring AI adoption internationally at scale and examines how conflict shapes innovation and job creation in Africa, the Middle East, and Southwest Asia. Professor Udomsaph earned both his BSFS and MSFS degrees from Georgetown University and holds a PhD in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley.
