Bronwyn Shields
M.S. in Foreign Service Student
Bronwyn Shields is a graduate student in the Master of Science in Foreign Service program, where she intends to pursue a concentration in geoeconomics, business, and finance.
Originally from Boston, MA, Shields attended the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, where she pursued her undergraduate studies in environmental science and entrepreneurship. Shields also earned a masters degree in Urban and Regional Planning with a concentration in transportation planning from the Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning at Michigan.
Upon graduation, Shields joined the Harvard Allston Land Company—a subsidiary of Harvard University—and the team working at the Enterprise Research Campus. In this role, she contributed to the planning and execution of the Project’s first phase, a 1M sqft mixed-use development in the heart of Boston’s Allston neighborhood.
Shields’ work is driven by a deep passion for achieving resilient, sustainable outcomes in communities facing challenging outlooks, and she is committed to making a meaningful contribution to the field. She is excited to take part in Georgetown’s and DC’s wonderful community! In her free time, Shields likes to run and currently has completely marathons on 4 continents!
