Brittany Fried
Director of Operations, Hayden Space Studies Initiative
In a transformative time for space studies, Brittany Fried is thrilled to serve as Georgetown's inaugural Hayden Space Studies Initiative Director of Operations.
Brittany returns to Georgetown after serving as a Presidential Management Fellow at the Federal Aviation Administration and with Catholic Relief Services in Bosnia and Herzegovina. She previously worked in the School of Foreign Service as the Assistant Director of the Center for Jewish Civilization, and served on the School's Board of Advisors.
Raised in Hong Kong, Singapore and the U.K., Brittany is deeply committed to Jesuit education and its global mission. She stays highly involved with the Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities and International Association of Jesuit Universities.
Brittany is a double Hoya, with a B.S. from the School of Foreign Service and MPP from the McCourt School of Public Policy. She also holds professional certificates in education finance, education program evaluation, and instructional design.
